Haddenham Healthcare Case Study – Building a Scalable, Personalized B2B Ordering Platform Across Three Continents
Haddenham Healthcare is a specialist provider of compression garments used in the treatment of lymphoedema and chronic venous disease. Operating in the UK, Australia, and the US, Haddenham needed a modern, scalable B2B ecommerce solution that could support complex product configuration, maintain data security for sensitive healthcare transactions, and prepare for long-term digital transformation—including ERP upgrades and NHS punchout integration.
To meet these needs, Haddenham launched three Cloudfy portals in April 2024 for the UK, US, and Australian markets.
The Challenge
Before Cloudfy, Haddenham relied on Access Dimensions and manual order processing, which presented growing challenges:
- Fragmented systems between the UK and Australia, with duplicated customer/product data
- Manual entry processes leading to errors and inefficiencies
- Non-standard pricing across regions
- SKU explosion due to made-to-measure product lines
- Limited ERP integration and no support for punchout or EDI workflows
- A BigCommerce setup that had reached enterprise limits—driving costs without flexibility
- Need for secure handling of patient-related garment requests
Additionally, NHS organisations required a portal capable of multi-user access, complex delivery hierarchies, and custom quote workflows—needs that off-the-shelf platforms couldn’t meet without costly customization.
Our Solution
Cloudfy delivered a multi-site, highly configurable B2B ecommerce environment tailored to the healthcare industry and Haddenham’s unique ordering requirements.
- Advanced Personalization with SKU Builder Cloudfy’s custom SKU Builder was developed to handle thousands of product variations per garment. It enables NHS therapists and distributors to configure made-to-measure garments with precision—supporting complex sizing matrices and personalised order flows.
- Secure and Scalable Architecture With separate portals for UK, US, and AUS, the Cloudfy solution enables region-specific catalogues, pricing, and language preferences. All sites are built on a shared infrastructure, simplifying data management while supporting scalability.
- Quote Automation & Webhooks Haddenham leveraged email and webhook functionality to manage custom quote workflows for hospitals and therapy centers. This allows secure, asynchronous order approval and pricing validation processes.
- Geo-Location and Personalised UX Users are automatically directed to the correct regional portal via geo-location, and Cloudfy’s custom menu system adjusts the experience based on user type and access level.
- ERP Integration Framework While initial deployment connects to Access Dimensions, Cloudfy’s integration-ready design supports Haddenham’s planned migration to Epicor and long-term punchout integration with NHS Oracle systems.
Results
Although the sites are live, Haddenham is still in the process of onboarding users and finalizing ERP integration. The platform already delivers:
- A centralised, scalable framework for UK, US, and AUS operations
- A strong foundation for reducing reliance on Access Dimensions
- Critical infrastructure for future NHS punchout and made-to-order garment integration
- Positive feedback on SKU configurability, multi-site logic, and healthcare-tailored features
Looking Ahead
Haddenham plans to activate full ordering capabilities once Epicor integration is complete. The current Cloudfy portals are designed to support:
- Future expansion to additional distributors and regions
- Corporate website integration
- Deeper ERP synchronisation and real-time data flows
- Ongoing configuration enhancements to support NHS procurement
